TOPIC: Ontario Family

Ontario Family 5 years, 7 months ago #93

my name is annette. as of 2012 I have a 7 seven year old son. He currently love bugs, spiders, insects (I have to differentiate), legos, cats, bunnies and all sorts of things. I'll be calling my son either buggy or "the lad".

I'm a fairly eclectic homeschooler. I do a little of everything. Learning what works best with my boy. Routine for him is good. Much harder to me to attain.

Welcome, Annette! Thanks very much for kicking off our Forums with your introduction! I hope you enjoy our new site! We have quite a few "buggy" Unit Studies that your son might love to explore... Are you homeschooling during the summer? If not officially, there are also come cool Science Challenges and Cabin Activities related to "critters" and other topics he might enjoy!

Let me know if I can be of any help, and thanks again for your post!

Take care, and have a great day!

i homeschool year round with "breaks". When life gets busy, we stop our "official" homeschooling and do hands-on spontaneous learning.

I will need to check out the "buggy" unit studies.

where do I find the Cabin activities??

Nice to meet you Annette!

We homeschool in very much the same way. That is what keeps homeschool fun

I think you might find what Patricia is suggesting in the Themes section of the website www.homeschoollearning.com/index.php/themes

Actually Annette, I just found the Cabin activities in the Projects section, under Virtual Summer Camp.
